Professional Investor Declaration

We refer to the receipt or future receipt of financial promotions by KingsburyP Commercial Brokers Co LLC (“Kingsbury & Partners”, “We”, “Us”).
The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) imposes certain rules and restrictions in dealing with investors in the United Arab Emirates. Generally, an investor will be covered by certain requirements and protections under the SCA Regulations Manual which, however, will be relaxed if a customer is categorised as a 'Professional Investor'.
Professional Investor Definition
Reference: SCA Regulations Manual, Article 5
A Professional Investor (resident) is defined as a natural person who meets at least ONE of the following:
- Owns net assets - excluding the value of main residence - of not less than AED 4,000,000
- Is approved by the SCA or similar authority, OR is/was an employee at a licensed body or regulated financial institution during the past two years, OR has sufficient knowledge and experience in investment and its risks
- Has a joint account with a professional investor (main account holder), where the account participant is a family member up to the second degree
DECLARATION
I confirm that I meet the criteria for a Professional Investor as defined by the Securities and Commodities Authority of the United Arab Emirates.
I understand and acknowledge that:
- I will not receive the same regulatory protections afforded to retail investors
- I may not have access to certain disclosure requirements
- I accept responsibility for evaluating the merits and risks of any investment
- I could lose all of the money I invest
Right to Withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from being treated as a Professional Investor at any time by giving written notice to us not less than fourteen (14) business days prior to the proposed effective date of withdrawal.
Ongoing Obligation
Please inform us in writing immediately if you no longer meet the definition of Professional/Sophisticated/Accredited Investor.
